MONDRIAN PROJECT

As part of the unit on solving equations and inequalities, students watched a powerpoint about the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian. They then created their own Mondrian pictures. They measured the dimensions of some of the shapes and, using the appropriate formulae, calculated the perimeter or circumference, and area. I wonder what Mondrian himself would think of their efforts!
